He was a significant presence on the Seattle scene for 15 years - consulting, lecturing, teaching and making glass. He now works as an independent glass artist in Tucson, Arizona and also consults and teaches in numerous glass studios. For 41 years Fritz has lectured and demonstrated in over 145 institutions in North America, Europe and Asia, among them, Pilchuck Glass School, Penland School of Crafts, Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, and Rhode Island School of Design. He was elected a Fellow of the American Crafts Council and was awarded the 1993 Corning Glass Museum Rakow Commission. His glass is represented in numerous public and private collections, ‘…all the usual suspects!’
