Petra Janssen![]() Petra Janssen got "infected by the glass-virus" in 2003. During the last years, she studied with some of the most well-known beadmakers in the glass society. Two years ago, she started to demonstrate the old craftwork at the Museum of Applied Art in Cologne on a yearly basis and showed her work at different exhibitions. Working in front of people, being in close contact with customers and teaching complete beginners is a real joy for her as she loves to bring back the smile on peoples faces while they explore the world of glass. For her the most fascinating part of being a glass artist is the journey of expression as every single bead is hiding all kinds of feelings, new beginnings, fond memories, dreams, crazy stories; a piece of the artist's soul is captured within the bead. You just have to believe her when she says: "There is so much more, we don't see!" www.beadnik.de * An additional US$20 registration fee is charged during application ** The amount of deposit to be paid is US$320 |
