This is a beginning glassblowing class with gentle emphasis on color application and engraving techniques.
We will work through a process of proper glassblowing technique to get started and then add the dimension of surface decoration using color overlays and engraving processes. This will add a fun and very personal dimension to the work the students create. Naturally- our ideas and influence will be augmented by the beauty of Turkey and its cultural design and pattern.
My experience is honed to work with artists and individuals new to glassblowing. This class will concentrate on successful techniques to enable the student to be able to realize their designs.
