This mosaic course should show to the students how to carry out mosaic works spontaneously with any materials available, not just translating well elaborated colored cartoon into another material. Hereby the creativity of the students should be stimulated in using the special "character" of the materials they have in hand. I had learned that the selection and application of the right materials is a high intellectual act before executing a mosaic in any contemporary way.
