Explore recent methods Claudia Borella adopts to create precise designs in her kiln formed works during an intensive two-week course. During the course program, participants will experience kiln-forming techniques working with Bullseye Glass. Explore fusing using the new Bullseye reactive glass types and copper foils and slumping with pre-made ceramic molds. Whilst working on a signature work for the Glass Furnace Collection, Claudia will construct a hand made mold to illustrate how students can develop their own sculptural works. Additionally, Claudia will reveal a signature process developed in New Zealand to achieve her intricate design work using sandblast resist. This workshop is partly sponsored by Bullseye Glass Company, Portland, Oregon, USA.
